Country of Origin: England.

Size: Shoulder height: 12-13 inches at the shoulders and 13-18lbs

Coat: Silky, moderate length free from curl.   Color can be Ruby (Chestnut Red), Tri (Black/Tan/White), Blenheim (Orange/White), or Black and Tan.

Character: Loving.  This breed is suited very well as a family dog as well as affectionate. 

Temperament: This dog gets along very well with children, other dogs, and any household pets. They love to cuddle and are one of the warmest hearted dogs you will find.   Most Cavalier's are laid back and mild mannered and just love to sit in your lap.

Care: Medium to Low maintenance.    Coat may require brushing once per week especially the longer hair on their ears and under legs to avoid matting.

Training: The Cavalier King Charles learns very quickly and aims to please.  Caution should be taken to not speak harshly as the Cavalier can become timid.

Activity:  The Cavalier can adapt to your exercise style.  They do not need extensive run time but do enjoy their time in the yard.
